Kimiko Yoshida

The way that Kimiko Yoshida uses materials, that are not regular for fashion design, is amazing. Those materials get a whole other meaning they're now fashion art items and they look absolutely great.

Art of Simplicity

The art of simplicity. It's just paper with paint or something like that. And it works, has power and makes it to this blog. hahaha *wink*wink*

Clayton Cubitt - Cream

I found this work when I was searching for some nice artwork to place in my trendbook. Today I looked through my trendbook and saw two of these pictures in it. And was wondering what more he made. And I figured out that those two pictures were pieces of a serie. I really liked the whole serie, so here it is.

Go and Watch

You all have to see the website of Tim Burton. Don't forget to put on your sound! More I'm not gonna say about it, you really have to experience it for yourself!

She's like me

The work of Natalie Biryuchenko really has some similar works as I'm working or worked on. But then better.
The leg shots are really inspiring for my walk of the day shots. The flower shots are just amazing because of the fact I adore flowers.
And the drowning photo, has sort of the same feeling as mine.
By seeing her work, I can see how I can improve my own work. She a artist that really stands close to what I want to achieve with my photography skills at the moment.

Reconstructions

Yesterday I already blogged the Buds serie of Marcel van der Vlught. But I couldn't keep you from seeing his Reconstructions serie.
I love the way he uses all different photographical techniques to make this photos authentic. Also I like the way he used a flower grower company as background for his models. It gives a behind the scenes feeling.

Buds

When I came by the website of Marcel van der Vlught
Of course me as a flower lover, immediately saw the Bud Serie.
He didn't make all the photo's at once, but the serie developed through the years. The first one was taken in 1991 and the last ones were taken in 2001.
This way of creating a serie, is a very inspiring way of working. I like the fact how it develops through the years but still stays a coherent serie.
