The Keukenhof

Last friday we went to the Keukenhof with school. We saw the castle of the Keukenhof, but we also took a walk on the estate.

In the castle we saw all the original features. But also a modern art exposition. In some rooms it was blend in and in others it took over the whole room.

I loved to see all the original features, especially the fabrics, wallpapers and engravings. Here are some examples of what I saw.

Then there was the modern art. Like I said sometimes it totally blended in with the original features. But most of the art totally stood out. Here are some examples of the modern art.

After the tour through the castle we went into the gardens of the estate. I loved the stories the lady told about the people who lived and live there. Wish we could talk to the lady who still lives there, it's a pitty she nearly comes outside. Because the gardens are beautiful and they give room to breath a lot of fresh air.

Really like the extra atmosphere of polaroids, the colors and the snapshot feeling of it. What they mostly are! Also went into looking where you can by casettes for the camera's and I found this website called: the IMPOSSIBLE project, they sell new kind of casettes for the old camera's. Great idea and certainly for me now!

Digital Fun with Mother Nature

This Digital Art made by Jochem van Wetten is playing with mother nature. Like I already mentioned I love flowers (and nature). Normally I'm not into digital art at all, but this art I like. It's fun, it's light weighted and brings a message to the world. The 2 works I'm showing you, have a inner message about nature, what people do with it and the environment. Start thinking people and visit the website of Jochem van Wetten!

Bruno Dayan

Like I told before I'm organizing and shit, so I run into Bruno Dayan's site again.  He mostly shoot fashion, but also beauty, celebrities and advertising are in his portfolio. I choose 3 fashion pictures and 3 beauty pictures I liked the most of alllll his photos. Something I find interesting when I look at this six pictures is that, 5 out of 6 models don't look into the camera. Is this something I like? I'm gonna figure that out!

Black Cat Vs. Pete Doherty

When I was looking on the site of RANKIN I also saw this picture of the black cat on Pete Doherty's shoulder. I don't have anything with Pete Doherty, not to be rude or something, just haven't. But I do have something with catssss, I have cats since the day I was born, so there a part of my life. So when I see such a beautiful black and white picture with this lighting and a black cat, I just have to post it.

Flowerbody

Okey I love flowers, you probably already noticed that by seeing my blog background. So when I ran into this serie photographed by RANKIN, I just had to post it! I love the way the flowers and the body work together on this picture. Want to shoot something similar one day.
